That is what this guide is for — to help you get things done by examining the processes that you might use to realize your green vision. We’ll look at personal initiative as well as the art of joining with others to create a ‘Green Team’, and the kinds of activities your team could promote around your sacred space. This document is designed to help develop a group of members in your faith community who wish to actively promote eco-sustainability. The 21 3/4" x 27 5/8" Green Rule poster presents sayings from more than a dozen of the world's great religious and spiritual philosophies, demonstrating that all these traditions have at their core a tradition of ecological stewardship. The accompanying 20-page (double-sided) study guide offers suggestions on how you can use the Green Rule poster as an imaginative and practical tool to teach youth and adult members of your faith community and school system about the sacredness of creation in their own faith, as well as learn about creation care from other faith perspectives. There is a workshop outline, spiritual practices, and rituals from a variety of faith traditions along with inspiring eco-faith stories, poems, websites and other related resource materials.

Green Rule Poster (Mailed Folded)

The 21 3/4" x 27 5/8" Green Rule poster presents sayings from more than a dozen of the world's religions and spiritual philosophies, demonstrating that all these traditions have at their core an ethic of ecological stewardship and an awareness of the sacredness of creation. The Green Rule paraphrases the Golden Rule by saying: "Do unto the Earth as you would have it do unto you" and invites us all to be good stewards of our mutual home, planet Earth. For that reason we encourage you to consider ordering the Green Rule poster folded in a 9" x 12" envelope for individual or small orders of less than 5. This is the most eco-friendly and economical way of sending single posters. The poster will have creases, but we eliminate the 30" cardboard tube required to ship a single poster rolled.
